Alice and Sam were first introduced at the respective ages of 8 and 10 years old. 10 months after their first meeting, the pair were sharing a house, and a bedroom, as her dad moved in with Sam and their mum following their year long relationship.
When the pairs parents broke up a couple of years later, Aliced moved away with her dad. As she was the closest thing to a sister Sam had ever had, the pair stayed in close contact.
When Alice moved to New York City, she set up camp in the spare room of Sam's apartment and the pair have lived together ever since.
Sam is more than protective of Alice as they see her as their little sister and would do anything for her, despite maybe not saying it outloud too often.

Sam and Bowie met at a party, Bowie was there for fun but Sam was there strictly on business. Despite this, the pair got chatting and hit it off instantly as they talked shit about people around them. When one of Sam's deals went wrong, Bowie stepped in and helped her, taking them to the ER and helping cover up for Sam's accident. Since then, they have been almost inseparable.
They don't see eye to eye 100% of the time, however they both have each other's back always.
Their friendship has morphed into a jokey bromance, giving Sam a relationship she's never had before

Sam and Caspian were once the best of friends, until one day... they weren't. The pair went from occasional roommates when Caspian needed a place to escape to sworn enemies in a matter of moments. Sam has no idea what happened between them for Caspian to turn so cold and start ignoring them, but it only sparked hatred from Sam in return.
Since that moment, the pair have been butting heads left, right and centre.
One night, Sam finds out Caspian's best kept secrets, and the pair reunite to work together. Caspian being the brains, Sam being the braun, they become a duo not to be challenged.

Sam and Iris have 2 connections. One that everyone sees and one that only the pair of them know about.
They met each other when Sam struck up a deal, allowing his 'boys' to sell Sam's wares at the club Iris works at. The pair never really came into contact much unless there was a problem that Sam needed to fix, and there seemed to be a few more at the club than there was at his other locations.On the outside, the pair know each other in passing. Iris hates Sam's casanova persona, and Sam loves to wind her up with it, flirting with her and getting shot down at any given moment.
However, their private connection couldn't be more opposite. Following Sam's outburst at Casa Cipriani in Caspian's direction due to a conversation between them and Iris, she made her way to the penthouse suite Sam had hired out to give them a piece of her mind, but this didn't end in a way either of them expected. This led to a secret friends with benefits agreement, although feelings are beginning to develop from both sides.
